1. Tell us about yourself and your passions outside of the professional field
hello my dears,
I am Ionela, a calm and balanced person, who loves harmony, all that is beautiful and especially people.
My mentors and the president of the company inspire me in everything I do CalivitaGerry Hargitai who are true models of success, modesty, perseverance and especially loyalty. After all, I like to think that these are my greatest qualities, so it is normal to surround myself with people with the same values.
My colleagues and friends also inspire me, because I have something to learn from each of them, every day. I thank you with gratitude my dears!
I am particularly passionate about personal development, reading, outdoor walks, and travel. I really go by the idea: man learns as long as he lives.
In my spare time I relax by reading a good book, go to the gym and sauna, to the theater, opera and concerts. And let’s not forget the travels, because I had the opportunity to discover absolutely amazing places, combining the personal with the professional. How? With Calivita I had and still have the opportunity to see new, beautiful places. I have visited almost all the European capitals but also other special places such as: Thailand, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, Dublin and others.
I am a persevering person and in this way I convey to the people around me that, no matter how difficult the road may be, sometimes it is worth traveling to achieve excellent results.
2. Would you rather define yourself as an optimistic, idealistic, pragmatic or pessimistic person? Why?
I consider myself an optimistic person, with a smile always on my face, ready at any time to encourage or reassure the people around me.
I am grateful every day for what I am and what I do and I am convinced that for every challenge there is at least one solution. This gratitude fuels my positive energy and motivates me to approach each day with an open mind and a heart full of goodwill. In essence, I see life as a journey full of lessons and opportunities, and the joy I bring with me is a gift that I share with others every day.
3. What was the most difficult competition in your life? But the happiest moment?
After several unsatisfying jobs, not finding my way in the classic system, I thought it was time to create my own way. That’s how I met the company Calivita with whom I started a business. The beginning was challenging, full of uncertainties and risks. I had to overcome my fears and face the new path I had chosen. It took a lot of work and perseverance to build something from scratch. But, over time, I started to create my own space, to develop a solid team and to attract talented and passionate people around me.
I managed to build and grow my team, to have many quality people around me, many true friends. This is my greatest joy. I coordinate the business activity with my sister and all the members of our family are loyal consumers of the products Calivita.
4. What have you learned in life from your own mistakes?
In my life I made many mistakes that I consider experiences from which I learned how not to make them again. I learned that failures do not define a person, but give them the opportunity to develop and better understand the world around them. I consider them real milestones on my way to success, to success. Learning from them, I managed to build my own set of values, develop greater resilience and truly appreciate the successes I have achieved thanks to the lessons learned from the past.
5. How did your journey in the world of entrepreneurship begin and how did you get to your current business?
I started the activity in Calivita in parallel with the classic service, and when I reached a certain managerial level, I quit my job to dedicate myself to the full-time development of this business. Of course, you can have another job on the side Calivitabut my choice was to dedicate myself completely. Then I assumed everything. I built a beautiful team, with many quality people, who have been with me for 20 years: my sister Laura Badila, Victoria Voicu, Alina and Marius Zotica, Florina Petrescu, Georgeta Obogeanu, Dan and Ileana Simionescu, Elena Oprea, Simona Stan, Laura Panait and many others.
Next to them and together with them I grow, learn, evolve and have the necessary support to live the best possible life. I thank them with gratitude that they are in my life!
6. What are the most important things that have changed in the business environment since you started in business?
In the 22 years since I have been a partner Calivita a lot has changed. Technology is much more developed, communication methods have changed. The psychology and behavior of customers is increasingly varied. So society has changed a lot. That is why it is very important to keep up with the times. I invest a lot in my preparation. At least 2 specialized courses per year and many other seminars and conferences. Because there is no stagnation: you either go up or down.
7. Why do you think that some are successful and others are not, in the field of your business?
Some people are successful because they have set a goal in this regard. They have made a decision and are confident that they can succeed. They also went to work, they didn’t just put the plans on paper. They worked hard. And… what can you see, through perseverance and involvement they succeeded. Successful people know that making the decision is only the beginning. It is a self-commitment, a promise to turn your dreams into reality.
They understand that success does not come only through dreaming or planning, but through hard work and constant involvement. Therefore, these individuals do not just write down their goals on paper. They get into action and start working with passion and dedication.
Success is first of all a decision, and very few people make this decision.
8. What are the biggest achievements or successful moments you experienced as a partner Calivita?
My greatest achievement is the fact that I formed extraordinary people around whom extraordinary teams were formed. I am proud of each one of them.
My joy is even greater when they have achievements and success. It is a special experience to see how these people evolved, grew and became not only valuable members of the team, but also leaders in their own teams.
The fact that I had a contribution in the formation of these successful teams is a source of pride and fulfillment for me. Each person in these teams has become an essential piece of the puzzle, bringing unique skills and talents. I am proud to see how these people have overcome barriers and achieved success through their own efforts.
9. What plans and goals do you have for the future? What are the key initiatives you have in mind within the team you coordinate?
In the future, I proposed to take the business to the next level, to version 2.0, which would combine my accumulated experience with the innovation and energy of the new generations. An essential aspect of this evolution is to train and guide young people, giving them the knowledge and tools necessary to take over our mission and carry it forward.
I will continue to help people to have a healthy lifestyle, to enjoy life, to be fulfilled and … happy. May they shine in their lives! Shine On with Calivita!
