The story of an incurable optimist

Vasile Joanta is a follower of continuous personal development, emphasizing the importance of constant learning and adaptation. The 250,000 km traveled across the country to discover new partners Calivita and supporting his business are a testimony of his dedication and hard work. His greatest professional achievement, the moment he became Palm Manager, reflects a formidable team work and the desire to transform Giurgiu into a “City Calivita”. This remarkable course emphasizes that youth is a state of mind, and success comes from clearly defining objectives and from persistent work.

Tell us about yourself and your passions outside the professional field

If I had to describe myself, I would say “young and restless”. As a teenager, I was an ardent mountaineer. I traveled far and wide in the mountains around my native Brasov.
Then I followed the engineering career, I founded a wonderful family and life took us to the shores of the Black Sea.

Here we started our business and in 2000 we moved to Giurgiu, where we rediscovered our passion for fishing.

The moments of maximum relaxation are those spent in nature. Classical music concerts and the theater also belong to the relaxation chapter. And there would be many more.

Would you rather define yourself as an optimistic, idealistic, pragmatic or pessimistic person?

I’m an incurable optimist. I believe that anything we want is possible to obtain, if we act correctly. I love sitcoms like crazy. That’s why I always try to make the people around me laugh. I simply can’t help myself. That’s my way of perceiving things, my way of staying young and confident.

Otherwise, I am very serious and determined in everything I undertake.

What was the most difficult competition in your life? But the happiest moment? Is there an experience in your life that marked you deeply and that helped you grow or develop as a person?

The most critical moment in my life was when I closed the first company, and the happiest – the one when I met my “half”.

To conquer the heights, to be near the black goats is extraordinary. And I went climbing!

Personal development was and is a long-term, well said, continuous process. That’s why there are many events that marked my evolution and career and it’s hard to choose between them. Some awakened new creative anxieties, others reminded me that age is just a number, while youth is a state of mind.

What have you learned in life from your own mistakes?

If I were to answer in my style, I would not make any more mistakes. Of course it’s not possible, but I learned to analyze my mistakes and avoid repeating them in the future. I believe that mistakes are very important in personal development. So are the successes.

How did your journey in the world begin? Calivita?

In the street. I was in Giurgiu and I was looking for a source of income. I wanted to have a business again, but I didn’t have the necessary capital.

After many searches I decided to see what’s up with this system. For me, as an engineer, it was quantifiable. Everything was described by numbers. I was “encouraged” from the beginning that I would not succeed, that “the people of Giurgiu are evil, sir…”. But I knew from my grandfather that “the man sanctifies the place”, and if you don’t try, how can you discover if something works or not?! And it worked, even if for that I had to swallow a lot of mitocans.

I believed in myself and then in the few people who said YES to the association with me and Calivita.

What are the most important things that have changed in the environment in which you work since you have been active in the community Calivita?

By far the transition from offline to online work. Everything changed with astonishing speed. Suddenly we woke up in another world. Technology and the Internet have completely changed the way of communication.

I can say that I started from scratch, but now I have experience in this regard. Once again I’m on a street, only it’s virtual. We no longer hugged directly, we kissed on zoom.

Why do you think that some are successful and others are not, in the business Calivita?

It all depends on what you want to do with your life. Define as precisely as possible who you want to be, what kind of life you want to lead. Then it is necessary to learn continuously, to keep up to date with the new means of communication, of transmitting specific information.

As in any field, those who succeeded had a dash of luck and a touch of grace, as if they were made specifically for this. The reality is that until now there have been thousands of hours of work, thousands of contacts to promote the business, hundreds of hours of seminars and, in my case, 250,000 km traveled in the country to discover new partners and support those who decided to join our business.

What are the biggest achievements or successful moments that you experienced as a partner Calivita?

The biggest achievement, which I will remember all my life, was the moment when I became Palm Manager. It was a formidable team work with an indescribable enthusiasm. That’s when the desire for Giurgiu to become “City” came to life Calivita”.

What plans and goals do you have for the future? What are the key initiatives you have in mind within the community Calivita?

Although for 90% of people retiring means to stop working, to eat seeds on the block ladder and to do politics, it is not valid for me either!

I will continue to develop my business Calivitacombining offline and online working mode. I do not give up the classic values of the system (direct meetings, seminars, etc.), but I am now developing the skills necessary for online work.

I built (together with Elsa – my wife) the website www.activsisanatos.ro, with presence on Facebook and Instagram, a WhatsApp community, but also a YouTube channel through which we maintain and increase contacts with our partners.

What the future holds… AI will probably tell us.
