Noni - Morinda citrifolia

Natural Calivita products
Indian mulberry - the Noni shrub comes from Southeast Asia and Australia. For millennia it was consumed, and also used as a medicine for various diseases. Although noni is used in western medicine without detailed research, but it is absolutely certain that this fruit can be used in many diseases without fear of negative side effects.

The noni tree grows up to 1-1.5 meters in height. It can survive and bear fruit in various weather conditions and has the unique ability to regenerate. The fruit of this tree is a pomegranate, its pulp is whitish-yellow with unpleasant taste and smell.

Some of the active ingredients that are found in seeds, roots, bark are already known to science: proxeronine, vitamin C, carotene, potassium compounds and damnactal, which supports normal cell division, and scopoletin which has anti-inflammatory action by blocking cytokine production, and also antioxidant, hepatic and spasmolytic activity. The research also showed that the scopoletin activates the process of apoptosis of altered leukocytes in leukemia. Noni also contains useful fatty acids (linoleic acid, caproic acid) and bioflavonoids (rutin).

Let's see in which health problems noni active substances can be helpful!

Prokseronin, which the body transforms into active xeronine, supports proteins responsible for the development of cells and the formation of their proper structure, thus contributing to the protection of health. Due to its properties, proxeronine is useful in diseases such as hypertension, stomach ulcers and arthritis.

The Noni fruit contains substances with antibiotic properties (akubin, alizarin), which are effective in bacterial infections, for example in salmonella, E. coli, Helicobacter pylori, which is the cause of stomach ulcers or mycobacteria, which is the cause of the tuberculosis. Anti-inflammatory substances of Noni do not irritate the mucous membrane of the stomach. In addition, its antiviral and antifungal properties have been scientifically proven. Studies have shown that noni is effective in combating abnormal cell division. It can prevent the occurrence of certain types of cancer, as well as block the development of existing ones. Noni is used together with traditional therapeutic methods, which makes the treatment much more effective.

More and more independent studies confirm its hypotensive and diuretic properties. Many scientists consider noni to be effective in the treatment of hypertension, one of the most widespread civilization diseases.

Noni has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system. The results show that the regular cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood are significantly reduced with the regular use of noni extracts.
In addition, independent studies have demonstrated the efficacy of noni in liver protection.

In the light of the above, the question may arise how much of the extract of this plant should be used to achieve positive results? Research in this field has shown that regular use is much more important than quantity, which ensures a constant concentration of useful active ingredients in the blood. Remember to choose products from noni that have the same activity as fresh fruit, for example a freeze-dried noni juice, organic juice with the addition of fresh noni fruit - Organic Noni, or noni capsules.
